The State Health Society, Bihar (SHSB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHOs). A total of 4500 vacancies are available under Advt. No. 02/2025. Interested candidates can apply online from May 5 to May 26, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

You must have one of the following:

• B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH)
  OR

• General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with CCH Certification
  OR

• B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with Community Health Certificate

Age Limit (as on 01 April 2025)

• Minimum: 21 years

• Maximum: 42 years

• Age Relaxation: As per Bihar SHS rules

Pay Scale

• ₹40,000 per month (fixed)

3. Register using your valid email ID and mobile number

4. Fill out the application form carefully

5. Upload required documents (photo, signature, ID proof, etc.)

6. Pay the application fee (if applicable)

7. Review the form and submit it

8. Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference
