• For Agriculture and specific Engineering courses, candidates must be 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of examination. The maximum age for general candidates is 22 years, and for SC/ST candidates is 25 years.
• Aspirants must have passed or be appearing for the final year of the AP Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. 
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required in the qualifying examination, and 40% for candidates from reserved categories such as SC/ST.
