Exam Pattern

The candidates who will be applying for the Intelligence Bureau MTS Recruitment 2025 have to go through a Tier 1 (Computer-Based Test) and a Tier 2 (Part-1) Offline Exam of Descriptive type.

IB MTS Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The MTS Tier 1 Exam 2025 will be conducted in an Online mode and will consist of objective-type MCQs. The exam is divided into 4 parts containing 100 questions of 1 mark each. There will be a Negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Candidates will be given a time duration of 1 hour to complete their exam.

IB MTS Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025

The Tier 2 Exam will be a Descriptive Test on English Language and Comprehension. The exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier-ll is 20
out of 50.

IB MTS Salary Structure

The selected candidates will receive a salary under Level-1 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 18,000–56,900) along with all admissible Central Government allowances. In addition to the regular benefits, they will also be entitled to a Special Security Allowance of 20% of the basic pay, which will be provided over and above other applicable allowances. Furthermore, employees will receive cash compensation for duty performed on holidays, subject to a maximum limit of 30 days.
