Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB, UPPBPB), Lucknow has released the Official Notification for the Online Application Form for the Post of Sub-Inspector Civil Police (Male/Female), Platoon Commander PAC/Sub-Inspector Armed Police, Platoon Commander / Sub-Inspector, Special Security Force (Male) & Women Sub-Inspector for Women Battalion Recruitment 2025 of 4543 Post.  Online Application Start On August 12, 2025 & Application Last Date is September 11, 2025. Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages:

UP SI Physical Standard Test (PST)

The Physical Standard Test must be met by the candidates to be called for the efficiency test. The height and chest requirements for males and females are as follows.

Male (ST) 160 cm 77-82 cm (Min. 5 cm expansion)

Additional Criteria:

  • Female candidates should weigh at least 40 kg.
  • Male candidates should have a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.

UP SI Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) is an important part of the UP SI Recruitment process. It includes a run that candidates must complete within a given time. For male candidates, 4.8 kilometres must be completed in 28 minutes. For female candidates, 2.4 kilometres must be finished within 16 minutes. This test is designed to check the physical fitness and stamina of the applicants.

UP Police SI Salary 2025

The Sub Inspector (SI) in the Uttar Pradesh Police is one of the most reputable and respected roles.
