Statement I: 6 years ago, the average age of Prem, Renu and Sofi is 15 years and 4 years ago the average age of Sofi and Renu is 15 years.
Statement II: The ratio of the present age of Prem and Renu is 5:4 and the difference between the ages of Prem and Sofi is 7 years.
What is the speed of train A?
Statement I: Train A crosses the 200m long platform in 18 seconds and train B crosses the same platform in 36 seconds.
Statement II: The speed of the train B is 60kmph and the ratio of the length of train A and train B is 3:2.
What is the monthly salary of A?
Statement I: A invested 60% of his salary in two different schemes S and T equally. Scheme S provide interest compounded at 10% per annum and T gave simple interest at same rate of interest.
Statement II: A spends Rs.2000 per month for his transportation. From remaining monthly salary, he spent on paying education fees and personal expenses.
Find the rate of interest.
Statement I: Sunil invested a certain amount in a scheme which is offering the compound interest. He got an interest of Rs.200 in the third year and the interest of Rs.240 in fourth year.
Statement II: Sunil invested a certain amount in a scheme which is offering the simple interest and the amount is doubled after 5 years.
There are 200 students in the tuition center in which 45% of the students are boys. The monthly fees of each boy is Rs. x and each girl is 80% of monthly fees of boy and the total difference in monthly fees of boys and girls is Rs.540. Find the value of x.
The marked up price of the Shirt is Rs.1300. The shopkeeper gave two successive discounts of 50% and 8% on the shirt. If the percentage of marked up price for the shirt is 600/7% more than that of the cost price, then find the approximate profit /loss percentage.
A can finish a work in 16 days and B can finish the same work in 4 days less than that of A and the efficiency of C is 20% less than that of B.
