Khelo India School Games is part of the " Khelo India" program. This competition is being held from January 31 to February 8, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. In this competition, under-19 athletes will get the opportunity to participate in 16 different sports. These are major games:

Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Shooting, Swimming, Volleyball, Weightlifting, and Wrestling. 

With this, Anukumar Bahu of Uttarakhand has become the first player to win a gold medal in the anticipated "Khelo India Competition".

The World Health Organization awarded the Ihsan Dogramaci Family Health Foundation award to Dr. Vinod Paul, a member of the Policy Commission.

This award recognizes Dr. Vinod Pal for contribution / services in his family health sector. Dr. Vinod Pal plays an important role in the issue of National Child Health Guidelines.

This award was established by Prof. Ihsan Dogramaci in the year 1980, recognizes medical contribution in promoting the level of family health. Professor Ihsan Dogramaci was a well-known pediatrician, entrepreneur and academician of Turkey.
