• Madhya Pradesh is the first Indian state to launch a separate 'Ministry of Happiness' in the state cabinet. 
• The ministry is expected to work towards ensuring happiness among the subjects of the state on the lines of Bhutan. 
• In April 2018, Andhra Pradesh became the second state in India to launch a separate Ministry of Happiness in its cabinet. 

• The Prince of Wales visited India in November 1921 when the Non-Cooperation Movement was going on.

Kishanganga Project is a major reason for contention between India and Pakistan. Kishanganga is a tributary of Jhelum on which Rs. 5,750-crore project has been built. According to Pakistan this project is a violation of the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty between the two countries.

• Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of Independent India from 1950 to 1962. He was an Indian political leader and freedom fighter from Bihar.
• He was born in Jiradei, Bihar on December 3, 1884. He was elected as the President of the Constituent Assembly of India, which was responsible for the preparation of the Constitution of India.

The Government of Chhattisgarh decided to name Naya Raipur, the upcoming capital city of the Chhattisgarh, as 'Atal Nagar' in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Besides the capital, several other government institutions and projects will be named after Vajpayee. Atal Bihari Vajpayee served three terms as the Prime Minister of India.

• The mistral is a strong, cold, northwesterly wind that blows from southern France into the Gulf of Lion in the northern Mediterranean, with sustained winds often exceeding 66 km/h.

Eyes typically have to be removed within 4-6 hours after death because the living tissue starts to rot and the eyes need to remain moist and might dry up after that making them unfit for donation.
