    What will ratio between age of Ram and Mohan after three years?

    Statement I. Ratio between age of Ram and Mohan four year ago 4 : 5, while six years hence ratio between  1/2 th of Ram age and  1/4 th of Mohan age will be 5 : 3.

    Statement II. Ratio between present age of Ram and Mohan is 4 : 5 and between Mohan and Sohan is 5: 6. Four years hence average age of all three will be 34.

    Solutions

    From I. Let age of Ram and Mohan be 4x and 5x respectively.

    What will be volume of cylindrical vessel?

    Statement I. Radius of cylindrical vessel is equal to side of square, which perimeter is 28 cm less than perimeter of rectangle. Height of cylindrical vessel is equal to breadth of rectangle.

    Statement II. Ratio between Length and breadth of rectangle is 4 : 3 and that of between breadth of rectangle and side of square is 9 : 7.

    Solutions

    From I. Radius of cylindrical vessel = side of square
    2(l + b) – 4a = 28
    Height of cylindrical vessel = breadth of rectangle
    From II. Length: breadth of rectangle = 4: 3
    Breadth of rectangle: side of square = 9: 7
    Length: Breadth: side of square = 12: 9: 7
    ATQ – 2(12x+ 9x) – 4×7x = 28
    x = 2 cm
    Radius of cylindrical vessel = 14 cm
    Height of cylindrical vessel = 18 cm

    Ratio between length of two trains is 3 : 4. What will be difference between their lengths?

    Statement I. Longer train cross a 240 meter long bridge in 20 sec.

    Statement II. Speed of longer train is 72 km/hr.

    Solutions

    Let length of two trains be 3l meter and 4l meter
    From I & II –

    l = 40 meter
    So, From I & II together we can determine the difference between length of two trains.
