The error is in option (A) of the sentence. It is a conditional sentence where the second clause is dependant on the first clause. The use of present perfect tense with "unless" is incorrect as the condition has not yet met but it is to be met in future. Such sentence are called future conditional sentence and in such sentences, we use simple present tense with the words like, unless, until, if, when and simple future is used in the second clause. Therefore, part (A) must be written as "until he confesses his fault".
