* The architecture of New Delhi is done by Sir Edwin Lutyens. He designed the city from 1912-1930. The project was completed in 1929 and officially inaugurated in 1931.

* “Delhi Order” was a unique new order of classical architecture developed by him during the architecture of New Delhi. Which further used in Campion Hall, Oxford.

* In recognition of his contribution, New Delhi is also known as "Lutyens' Delhi". He architecture New Delhi in collaboration with Herbert Baker.

* There were approximately 565 Princely states during the time of independence. t this time India had three types of states (1) 'Territories of British India', (2) 'Princely states'.

* After decleration of Indepedence, 562 princely states had nodded to join the Indian Confederation except Hyderabad, Junagadh, Bhopal and Kashmir.

* Hyderabad was acceded by Operation Polo, Junagarh by Plebicit, Kashmir by Instrument of Accession.

• Two PSUs work in collaboration with Election Commission of India for designing and manufacturing of EVMs.

• These two PSUs are as follow-

1. Bharat Electronics Ltd., Bangalore and

2. Electronic Corporation of India Ltd., Hyderabad.

• EVMs are powered by an ordinary 6 volt alkaline battery.

• The current electronic voting machines in India are the M3 version with VVPAT capability, the older versions being M1 and M2.

• Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) is an independent system attached with the EVMs that allows the voters to verify that their votes are cast as intended.

• In 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, voting of all constituencies are done with VVPAT-EVMs.

• VVPAT runs on a power pack Battery.

• In case of M3 VVPAT no additional polling official is required to handle the VVPAT.

• The Electoral bonds are available from Rs. 1000 to Rs 1 Crore.

• They do not carry the name of payee and are kind of a bearer instrument.

• Electoral bonds may be purchased by a citizen of India, or entities incorporated in Companies Act of India.

• It can only be purchased by selected branches of State Bank of India.

• It has to be redeemed by Political parties within 15 days only in their specified account.

• Cirque is associated with glacial landforms.

• Cirque is hollow armchair shaped circular depression with steep walls on three sides of a glacier.

• Some other Glacial Erosional Landforms are as follow-

a) Glacial Trough-stream cut valley modified by glacial action.

b) Hanging Valley-valley carved out by a mall tributary glacier

c) Arete- Sharp tipped summit with glacial activity cutting into it from two

d) Horn –horn shape ridge in glaciers

e) D-Fjord- steep sided narrow entrance like feature at the coast where the stream meets the coasts.

• Meghalaya shares international boundary only with Bangladesh.

• West Bengal shares boundary with Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

• Mizoram shares boundary with Bangladesh and Myanmar.
