The Business advisory committee of Rajya Sabha consists of 11 members.

While Business advisory committee of Lok Sabha consists of 15 members.

• This committee monitor and maintains the proceedings of house.

• The Chairman of Rajya Sabha is its ex officio chairman in Rajya Sabha.

• The Speaker of Lok Sabha is its ex officio chairman in Lok Sabha.

There are total 24 Standing committees in Parliament and each committee has 31 members.

• Each Standing Committee has 21 members from lok sabha and 10 members from rajya sabha.

• The members of lok sabha and rajya sabha are nominated by Speaker and Chairman respectively.

• The term of each member is one year in any Standing committee.
