Buddhist architecture includes various aspects of Buddha's life, symbols representing Buddha and stories associated with them.
The three important elements of Buddhist architecture are stupas, chaityas and viharas. A stupa is the traditional representation of funeral rites, in which the ashes of the dead are buried in both Buddhism and Jainism.
They are Buddhist religious monuments and were originally just a semi-circular mound of mud or clay to cover the relics of the Buddha and other prominent monks.
Stupa construction was a Buddhist art, however, even Jains built stupas. The earliest archaeological evidence for the presence of Buddhist stupas dates back to the late 4th century BC. These three umbrellas represented the three jewels of Buddhism. So, statement 1 is wrong.
Like the Amaravati Stupa, the Sanchi Stupa also has a circumambulatory passage enclosed within the altar, on which several historical sculptures are depicted. So, statement 2 is correct.
Although the early phase of Buddhist architecture shows the absence of Buddha images, during the later phase in the 2nd and 2nd centuries AD, Buddha images have been carved on drum slabs and many other places. The Buddha in the stupa of Sanchi is shown only as an empty throne, feet, chatra, stupa etc. So, statement 3 is wrong.
