• Ellora caves are located in the state of Maharashtra. These caves pertain to the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religion-related painting and sculpture.

• Moreover, these caves were built around 600-1000 BCE. In addition, Ellora is a UNESCO World Heritage site and houses the world largest rock-cut monastery temple caves.

Kumaragupta bore the titles Maharajadhiraja, Parama-bhattaraka, and Paramadvaita. He also adopted the title Mahendraditya. According to R.D. Banerjee, Ramagupta of the Gupta dynasty is mentioned in an 8th century copper land grant issued by the Amoghavarsha of Rashtrakuta ruler. The Gupta Dynasty came into power in 275 AD by Srigupta but it rose to prominence in 320 AD and spread to the large part of northern India, central and small parts of Southern India. Sri Gupta is mentioned as the first king of Gupta dynasty in Allahabad Pillar inscription. After the death of Chandragupta II in 413 AD, his son Kumaragupta became the next king and ruled over more than 20 years. He performed Ashvamegha sacrifice and like his grandfather Samudragupta, he issued Ashvamegha type of coins.

Tropical wet climate is found near the equator. The major areas are the Amazon Basin in South America, western equatorial Africa and the islands of East Indies. A significant amount of rainfall occurs in every month of the year as thundershowers in the afternoon. The temperature is uniformly high and the annual range of temperature is negligible. The Andes, to the desert's west, are the primary reason for the Patagonian desert status as they inhibit the westerly flow of moisture from the southern Pacific from reaching inland.

The Preamble in its present form reads:

“We, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:

LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all; FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION”.

• The Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26^th November, 1949.

• It came into force on 26^th January, 1950.

• At its commencement, it had 395 articles in 22 parts and 8 schedules.

• The world’s longest constitution is the Indian’s constitution.

• The Constitution provides for a Parliamentary form of government which is federal in structure with certain unitary features.

Under the Act, Schedule VI contains the plants, which are prohibited from cultivation and planting like pitcher plant, blue vanda, red vanda, kuth, etc. However, under the Act, a license is required to cultivate them. These plants are as follows:

• Beddomes’ cycad (Cycas beddomei)

• Blue Vanda (Vanda soerulec)

• Kuth (Saussurea lappa)

• Ladies slipper orchids (Paphiopedilum spp.)

• Pitcher plant (Nepenthes khasiana)

• Red Vanda (Rananthera inschootiana)]
