Note: Each candidate must obtain a minimum score in each of the Online Main Exam's tests in addition to a minimum aggregate score in order to be qualified for a personality test and interview. The number of vacant positions will affect cutoffs and the candidates chosen for interviews and personality assessments. The results of the Online Main exam will not be sent to the candidates who were selected for the personality test and interview until the interview process is complete. A predetermined number of applicants will be shortlisted and contacted by the IBPS for a personality test, common interviews, and provisional allocation. This decision is final.

IBPS PO Personality Test

Candidates who pass the main exam will need to complete a self-report personality test. The candidates' personality profiles will be viewed by the interview panel. The personality test will not yield any qualifying results. However, the Personality Test must be completed in order to be qualified to take part in the interview process.

IBPS PO Interview

Those who passed the CRP-PO/MT-XV personality test and made the short list in the online main exam will be contacted by the participating banks for an interview. With help from IBPS, the Nodal Bank in each state, UT, or area will set it up.

  • There will be specific locations for the interviews. The location, address, time, and date of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates via the call letter.
  • Call letters for interviews must be retrieved from the IBPS website. Please be advised that requests to alter the interview's date, venue, or other details will not be taken into consideration by the authority. IBPS does, however, maintain the right to change the interview's date, time, venue, center, etc. in the event of unforeseen circumstances, or to hold an additional procedure for a particular date, session, location, center, or group of candidates.
  • For the interview, a total of 100 marks is available. Candidates must score at least 40% of the potential points during the interview (35% for SC, ST, OBC, and PWBD candidates).
  • There will be an 80:20 weighted ratio between the online main exam and the interview.
  • The candidates' final score will be determined by combining the results of their interviews with their scores from the CRP-PO/MT-XV online main exam.
  • Interview results will not be disclosed for candidates who did not meet the minimum score requirement or who were otherwise excluded from the interview or further proceedings.
  • A candidate must pass both the online main exam and the interview and have a high enough merit score in order to be shortlisted for the next provisional allocation process, which will be described on the official IBPS website, www.ibps.in
  • When the candidate shows up for the interview, they must bring valid documentation.
  • Insufficient documentation will result in the cancellation of a candidate's candidature. Receiving or retrieving any documents, certificates, or remittances that are supplied independently is not the responsibility of IBPS, Nodal Bank, or Participating Bank.
