The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. The online application process has started on 11 July 2025 and will remain open till 31 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website.

Age Limit
- Age Limit: 17.5-21 years
- Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (inclusive). At the time of enrolment, the upper age limit must not exceed 21 years.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in three phases:
- Phase I – Online Written Test (Science/Non-Science subjects)
- Phase II – Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test I & II
- Phase III – Medical Examination
Candidates have to qualify for each stage as per IAF standards. Final selection will be based on state-wise merit and medical fitness.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates shortlisted from the online test (Phase I) will appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) in Phase II. The PFT is divided into two parts — PFT-I and PFT-II, and candidates must qualify for both.
