Vacancy Details, Age Limit and Qualification

Age Limit: For Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027, candidates born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case a candidate clears all stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment should be 22 years.

Agniveer Vayu Intake Exam Pattern 2027

The exam pattern for Phase 1 (Science and Other than Science subjects) as well as for the Phase 2 Physical Fitness Test (PFT) has been explained in detail below.

Phase I - Online Test

To be hired as an Agniveer, you must first pass the written test. The written test is different for science students and non-science students. The exam pattern is described below for your convenience:

Science Subjects

  • A total of 70 questions will be asked from three subjects, which are Maths, English, and Physics. 
  • One mark will be awarded for the right answer and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Army Agniveer Vayu Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Shortlisted candidates in the written examination will be called to appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts, PFT-I and PFT-II.

The salary package for Agniveers shortlisted for Indian Air Force services for a consecutive 4 years has been tabulated below.
