How to Calculate Your Estimated Score
Calculating a tentative score is possible. Calculate the correct responses and multiply it by the number of marks allocated per question. Next, deduct the negative markings for incorrect responses following the pattern given in the official notification. It should be kept in mind that it is just a tentative score. It will be finalized through normalisation and objections raised by the board.
What Happens Next?
Once the window for raising objections is closed, all the objections raised will be evaluated. This answer key will then be used to determine the results.
Those candidates who qualify in the test will proceed to further rounds in the selection process, including the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), verification of documents, and medical tests.
Start your preparation for the PET immediately if you feel confident in your scores. Waiting for the results to start your preparation is usually not successful.
Final Words
Begin your preparations for the PET exam straightaway if you feel comfortable with your marks. Preparation based on waiting for results rarely works.
