Selection Process

Exam Pattern

The CBT will be conducted online with 100 objective-type (MCQ) questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes. There is negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Questions left unanswered carry no penalty.

Railway Technician Medical Standard 2026

RRB Technician Grade I and Grade III posts are expected to have specific medical fitness requirements, similar to those prescribed in the previous recruitment cycle. RRB Technician Salary Structure 2026

Appointed candidates for Technician posts will be paid a monthly salary, allowance, and perks. RRB Technician Salary for both Grade 1 and Grade 3 is different. The salary for Technician Grade 1 Signal posts will be Rs. 29,200/- and the salary for Technician Grade 3 posts is Rs. 19,900 as pay level 2.
