Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the CBT-I Result/Cutoff for the Post of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) 10+2 Inter Level (CEN: 07/2025) Recruitment 2025 for 3058 posts. When Was the CBT-1 Exam Held?

The first-stage Computer-Based Test was held in two phases:

7 to 9 May 2026
13 to 20 June 2026

The test was held for more than one day and in different shifts. That is why RRB has normalized the scores before setting the cutoff. The process of normalization even ensures that the variations in the level of difficulty are evened out in different shifts.

Open the Results or Latest Updates section.
Look for the notice titled "Result of 1st Stage CBT and Shortlisting of Candidates for 2nd Stage CBT — CEN No. 07/2025 (NTPC Undergraduate)."

Type in your roll number.
If your roll number appears in the list, you've qualified for CBT-2.

What Happens Next: CBT-2 Exam

Candidates who cleared CBT-1 will move on to the 2nd Stage CBT, scheduled for 17 September 2026.

With less than a month left for preparation, if you have made the cut-off, then you should get ready from now on. RRB will declare the dates of the exam, city intimation slip, and admit card through regional websites.

The entire selection process goes like this

CBT-1 — screening stage
CBT-2 — merit stage
Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test, depending on the post
Document Verification
Medical Examination.

If you got into the list, then great; now move on to CBT-2 on 17th September. Otherwise, wait for your scorecard on 26th August.
