The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment 2025. A total of 509 posts have been announced. Delhi Police Head Constable 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for Delhi Police Head Constable posts must meet the required eligibility criteria as notified by the recruitment board. 

Education Qualification (as on 20/10/2025)

The candidates who apply for the Delhi Police Head Constable exam 2025 must have passed 10+2 (Class 12th) from a recognised institution at the time of applying for the post. 

OR National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)

  1. Candidates should be between 18 years of age and a maximum of 25 years of age.
  2. Candidates born not before 02-07-2000 and not later than 01-07-2007 are eligible to apply.
  3. There will be an age relaxation given to certain candidates as per the government rules and regulations.

Professional Attainments

Proficiency in Computer Operation Qualifying in Nature. 

  1. Speed in English Typing- 30 words per minute
  2. Speed in Hindi Typing- 25 words per minute

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

  1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE) – 100 Marks
  2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) – Qualifying
  3. Typing Test on Computer – 25 Marks
  4. Computer (Formatting) Test – Qualifying

Final merit will be prepared based on marks scored in the CBE and Typing Test.

Female Candidates

  • Height: 157 cm (Relaxable by 5 cm for Hill Area, ST, and Delhi Police wards)

Note: PwBD candidates (with locomotor disability of 40% and above) are exempted from PET & PMT.

Delhi Police HCM Salary 2025

The initial in-hand salary for a Delhi Police Head Constable ranges between Rs. 34,000 and Rs. 38,000, as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines. According to the official notification, the basic pay falls within the scale of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 under Pay Level 4.

  2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR).

  3. Fill in the application form for the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam 2025.
