The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the notification for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025. A total of 5,180 posts are available for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) across various states. The online application process begins on 6th August 2025 and will remain open until 26th August 2025. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official SBI website. SBI Clerk Vacancy 2025

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the number of vacancies for Clerk / Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts in the clerical cadre in the State Bank of India through the SBI Clerk Notification 2025. This year, SBI announced 6589 vacancies across the country. Out of the total vacancies, 1409 were backlog vacancies.

Education Qualification as on 31-12-2025

  • Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any Stream from any Recognized University in India.
  • Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply
  • Knowledge of Local Language.

Age Limit

As on 01.04.2025, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years (born between 02.04.1997 and 01.04.2005).
Age Relaxation:

  • OBC – 3 years
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • PwBD – 10 to 15 years depending on category
  • Ex-Servicemen – Service + 3 years (max 50 years)
  • Widows/Divorced women – up to 35 years (Gen), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST)

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

  2. Main Examination (Online)
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (if applicable)

Although the preliminary and main examinations are both conducted on the same pattern and syllabus. The difficulty level of the exam would be higher for the main examination. SBI Clerk Salary 2025

The starting basic pay is ₹24,050. Including allowances like DA, HRA, and TA, the total in-hand salary in metro cities can be around ₹46,000 per month. The salary increases with time as per the pay scale:
