What Is PE&MT?
Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) is the name of the test wherein your physical ability will be assessed. In case of endurance, there will be activities like a race, long and high jumps. For physical measurements, there will be height and chest measurements of the participant. What Comes After the Notice
The Date Notice informs you about your schedule. You will receive your admit card and Call Letter separately a few days before your examination date. Your admit card contains information about the exact venue, time of reporting, and required documents to be brought by you.
How to Prepare in the Coming Weeks
You still have some weeks to go, so do something good with them. Develop your endurance slowly rather than doing all your training within a week. Practice running and jumping on appropriate surfaces; overtraining is usually the cause of many injuries. At this stage of the game, even a minor injury will mean that you have lost everything. Get enough sleep and food; your body needs time to heal as well as to train. Drink enough water during your training days, particularly when it's hot in August. Cramps and fatigue are usually the causes of difficulty for candidates on test days.
On the Day of the Test
Arrive early at your test venue before the reporting time. Physiological tests always begin early, and gates will close according to schedule. Always carry your admit card, a valid ID, and any other document as required in the notice. Not having those can be problematic when reporting. It is wise to wear comfortable sportswear and shoes that you have worn while training. It’s hardly ever advisable to wear new shoes.
